Blotting System

Ideal for Western blotting, this mini-vertical blotting system can accomodate gels up to 10x10cm (3 15 / 16 x3 15 / 16 "). The seamless molded design provides the capability of transferring four gels simultaneously under identical temperature-controlled buffer conditions. Temperature control is achieved by magnetically stirring the buffer around freezer blocks on both ends of the reservoir, eliminating the need for an external cooling apparatus. The hinged cassette with double latches assures equal contact on the blotting stack and allows easy loading and removal of the blot. The tank uses less than 1L of buffer and features a stirring bar corral. All components are anode and cathode color-coded for safety. The electrodes are platinum.
